Carbon Steel Bars
While most Carbon Steel Bars are delivered in round shapes, they can also be made in square shapes if the customer requests them. They are also frequently tempered before being machined. It is necessary to heat the steel to relieve the toughness and make the steel more workable throughout this process. After then, the steel is allowed to cool naturally before machining can commence. Typical uses for our Carbon Steel Bars include drilling bits, taping bits, dowel pins, shafts, and reamers, to name a few. They are also employed in the production of hammers, punches, and files. Our steel barns are not severely alloyed, which allows the material to be machined more easily than the oil-hardened variation of the same material.
